Terms & Conditions
Below you will find the full terms & conditions of booking a stay at the Old Bridge House Fenit. If you have any questions regarding our terms prior to making a booking please contact us directly and we'll be happy to help .
1 DEPOSIT
The guest will be charged a prepayment of 20% of the total price after reservation is made and the remaining amount will be automatically charged in the 14 days before arrival.
2 COTS/HIGHCHAIRS
Cots and highchairs are available but must be booked in advance. Cot linen is not provided. Cots and highchairs must be requested at the time of booking. There is no charge for this service
3 .CLEANING & BED LINEN.
Final cleaning is included in the rental charge; we do ask that the house is left clean and tidy. Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. When a cottage is being rented for more than 1 week you may liaise directly with the on-site supervisor if fresh bed linen is required.
4 ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES.
Check-in is between 3:30pm – 6pm, Check-out is no later than 10am.
We request that these times be adhered to, in the event that you are unable to arrive at the specified time, its very important that advance approval is organised by contacting us in advance. We cannot guarantee acceptance of a later arrival time request, however we will certainly to everything possible to accommodate you.

5. ARRIVAL & CHECK IN PROCEDURES.
Check In will be on site at The old Bridge House in Fenit unless informed otherwise by your agent or accommodation representative. You will be given a brief on the facilities available and advised of the general cottage. Keys to your cottage will then be given to you when you are satisfied that everything has been explained to you and when the acceptance form has been duly signed. In the event that a client has a special request relating to a booking, this must be specified in writing at the time of booking. Not withstanding this the company does not guarantee such requirement will be facilitated.

6 FURNITURE, FITTINGS, & FIXTURES.
In the unlikely event that any equipment or machinery in a property breaks or malfunctions due to unforeseen circumstances, it may take up to 48 hours for it to be fixed or repaired. However we will do our best to rectify any issues that may arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.

7 RIGHT TO DECLINE.
We reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of their booking.

8 BEHAVIOUR.
Please note the following as it’s important that we consider and take responsibility for all guests and families staying with us at The old Bridge House Fenit.
We reserve the right to refuse to hand over any cottage to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge. Likewise, rental of the cottage may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the supervisor or any officer of the company if clients/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, endanger the safety or well being of other clients in the complex or that of the client himself, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstances deemed reasonable by the supervisor or any officer of the company. On the expiry or other termination of rental, the supervisor or any officer of the company may remove all belongings of the clients from the home left on the property and store or otherwise deal with same as deemed appropriate. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the sole risk in respect of such belongings shall at all times remain with the clients. Any damage or extra cleaning will be charged back to the guest. You will be informed of the charge in advance.

9 ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY.
For insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each cottage must not exceed the maximum capacity (5). As the capacity in each cottage may vary it is important that you check in advance that you do not exceed the limit which applies to the cottage you have booked. The number of persons advertised as being the sleeping capacity for the property must not be exceeded under any circumstances and clients will be asked to leave if this is exceeded.

10 PETS.
Guide dogs are permitted in certain circumstances and with advanced notice. Additional pets are not permitted.
Please note if you arrive at a property with a pet that has not been disclosed or a property that does not accept dogs you will be charged a fee of €350 and will not be allowed access to the property.

11 SMOKING.
Smoking is not permitted in any of our cottages. Failure to abide by this will result in the client’s deposit being forfeited for the provision of specialised cleaning services that will be required.

12 LIABILITY.
The old Bridge House Fenit, its employees and its employees or agents are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the home or on site during the stay or on departure. It is important take good care with valuables when staying. We do have all standard insurances in place within the complex, but these insurances do not cover the loss or damage of any personal belongings taken into the cottages by holidaymakers.

13 GROUP BOOKINGS.– strict policy (no exceptions)
The old Bridge House Fenit do not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in to such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.
For groups of 3 or more houses, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required on booking
Balance due 14 days prior to arrival date – after which, both deposit and balance are non-refundable & non-transferable.
14 COMPLAINTS.
In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the on-site supervisor and taken down in writing during your stay and/or prior to your departure; otherwise your complaint cannot be upheld as valid.

15 CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER.
The guest will be charged 20% of the total price if they cancel after reservation is made. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
The guest will be charged a prepayment of 20% of the total price after reservation is made and the balance is taken 14 days prior to arrival, both deposit and balance are non-transferable and are non-refundable.

16 GROUP CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER. – 3 cottages or more
The guest will be charged 20% of the total price if they cancel after reservation is made. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.
The guest will be charged a prepayment of 20% of the total price after reservation is made and the balance is taken 30 days prior to arrival, both deposit and balance are non-transferable and are non-refundable.
